The Birth of It’s An Anime Thing
Before the birth of It’s An Anime Thing, Josmarie has always loved anime. So much as spending all her summer days doing nothing except watching episodes of her favorite anime titles. Most of us are definitely guilty of this. Apart from her love of anime, she also enjoys writing in her free time. As fate would have it, roughly around the summer of 2017, her parents came up with an amazing idea and suggested that she should start a blog around her love for anime, knowing that she would have the passion for it.
It was a no-brainer for Josmarie to combine her love for anime and writing. And that definitely did turn her unproductive time of just watching anime into a much more substantial hobby, which is what her parents exactly wanted. She started her firstIt’s An Anime Thing blog on the platform, Blogger, which helped grow her experience and finally deciding to switch to Wordpress. Subsequently, months after she started blogging, she decided to expand her reach on different platforms and create content under the same brand on YouTube and even starting a podcast.
What’s Next To It’s An Anime Thing
At the moment, Josmarie wishes to expand her skills in producing all sorts of content from social media posts, videos, and writing. So as time will pass by, you can definitely expect her general style of producing content to change inevitably.
“I like to create the kind of content that feels more authentic and comfortable for me, which is why I tend to do reviews so much” says Josmarie. Being authentic is definitely going to attract the right people to her platform and once she expands her skills, there are going to be more opportunities, hence, a brighter future ahead for her blog and her life.
Her Favorite Item On Animated Apparel Company
“So far, my favorite item is currently the Tokyo Ghoul shirt with all the chibi characters! It was one of the first of many that I received from AAC. I pretty much wear it all the time. Plus, who can resist cute chibi characters?” —Josmarie
