Captain Marvel Trailer - Our Initial Review

Finally, the highly anticipated Captain Marvel teaser trailer has been released and we are excited! It is the first ever Captain Marvel trailer to be released, and we Marvel fans have been impatiently waiting for this moment.

From our initial impressions, this film promises adrenaline-filled excitement, actions and twists. Set in the ‘90s, Captain Marvel seems to deviate slightly from her comic book origin, but we are excited to see what Marvel has in store for us. How cool was it too see a much more innocent (prior to Pulp Fiction) Samuel L. Jackson? How about Clark Gregg’s (Agent Coulson) hair? It appears Captain Marvel may start off the movie with her powers, but her backstory will be told through multiple cut scenes. Personally, we are excited to see Captain Marvel come to the big screen and we hope she has a long future in the MCU. Maybe leading the avengers perhaps?

A popular theory floating around the internet is the relation between this film and Avengers 4. Some believe Carol Danvers will find herself in the Quantum Realm by the end of the film. Others theorize her battle with the Skrulls may take her off-world. What if this film reveals a possible Skrull in our midst? Could one of our beloved Avengers be a Skrull in disguise?

There has been so much talk over this film which adds to our enthusiasm. From the solo female hero, to the supposed lack of smile from the powerful Brie Larson. Since this trailer has received over 36 million views in the first week of its release, it’s safe to say many of you agree with us.

That’s enough about our thoughts, we would like to hear yours. What’s your take on the Captain Marvel Trailer? From the setting to the characters, costumes and story line, what do you think? Did you love this trailer as much as we did or were you not impressed? We’d love to know your thoughts. Feel free to leave a comment below.
